Do you hear an audio que at all?
I'm struggling with this, and just can't hear the ques.
You have to press spacebar and A (or D) the same time and then you will hear the audio cue, if you set the music to 25% and leave the rest at 100% in the audio options (otherwise you hear the music and nothing else). When you hear the clunky sound cue, release all buttons and you will jump to "safety".
Which means you fall to death if you were on that griffin tree, but there is at least a chance to survive if you manage to grap a branch somehow.
If you press spacebar and W at the same time, you can counterattack the beast instead of dodging.
Literally get no sounds, and only managed to attack once in 13 hours LOL. Been pretty much trying to do just that for the last 4 - practising that only!
I did notice on the last one that it gave me the full hud and tutorial even though I clicked hte second option from the bottom when I restarted so maybe something to do with that; but, honestly lost all fun in playing it now anyway as I have no idea what to do to progress and no YT videos or kind help form Morph is helping in my case.
You can give it one last try: Hold spacebar and hold A at the same time, then you should hear the audible cue. I think you just forgot to hold down space bar too. Pressing A only will not bring success, you need to hold both keys and turn down the music.
No I'm on controller as it says best to use it.
But, fixed it. Before I was re-saving over the same old save slot when I restarted. This time tried a new computer (which loaded the same save as my other) but, I chose a fresh save slot over overwriting the top one again, now the animations, on screen circle prompt of when to release, and sound are working and I'm got 8 for 8 hits.
Must not have fully overwirtten the save slot I guess causing the error / bug of the animation not loading when holding A - encase anyone else has the same issue.
