Help with a neuron thing

If you hover over the specific neurons you have unlocked, at the bottom of their little pop-ups it will tell you whether or not performing an act will gain you neural energy. If you're not getting anything out of carrying two handed stuff, try walking in water (or try carrying two handed stuff in water). Later on, running while carrying two-handed piles of stuff does pretty well at gaining neural energy...at least for a little while.

I had this problem for a few days till now... I have got your answer! it turns out you need a mutation for motricity and after some training that mutation will help unlock the vestibular system neuron which is required for the neuron you wish to unlock, once you unlock the vestibular system neuron, grab a stack or something heavy and run around for a bit then that node will unlock, it worked for me! it's been killing me!

Also, you need to actually spend the neuronal energy and unlock those feats that are ready. When you unlock them they often open up new feats. Don't worry about saving the energy, it's effectively infinite.

Mutations could work but are random. The best way to unlock those feats is evolve to australopithecus afarensis and the precursor mutation unlocks for free than build up motoricty. The reason why you are confused is you mutated into a gene you shouldn't have yet so go back through your tree and the precursor gene that is on the other end.
