My tribe starve when i am not around!

If i go to scout a new location and am gone for some time, most of my tribe die instantly when i port back to them if my scout dies. They seem to no be able to feed themselves when i'm not around.

Anmyone else get this? pretty lame if i have to manually feed the whole tribe cause that is far too much work.

The game has some bugs. It just released. Wait for them to fix it.

It definitely is a bug. The clan behavior is supposed to be simulated based on the environment. The hunger/thirst/sleep is a part of it.

ok, good to know. I had to exit the game cause of a sound bug, so hopefully both will be corrected upon return. Thanks for replying to both my posts btw. Seems so much toxicity on this great game, good to see some positivity ;)

Is there food at the camp where the clan is? I thought I heard something about having too big a clan would strip the food from a spot and you'd have to move along.
Perhaps they're starving because there's no food and they're not smart enough to forage for themselves without your guidance.

Is this the start location, or have you moved to another spot? I've never seen clan members leave the camp unless I'm leading them on an expedition and I'm not sure how big a radius around the first bed you place is the valid food area.

it is the start location at the waterfall, maybe they have run out of food, although there were still food still there when i looked. I had quite a large clan form the area though.

My clan was also near max. 6 kids, 6 adults, 4 elders and I didn't have any issues with leaving them alone. There always seemed to be food available when I looked.

I've heard that if their hands are full they won't eat on their own though. Would that be the problem?

Never had this issue, only time i had an issue with them not eating or drinking was when i was traveling in a group across the map and they had sticks in their hands. Otherwise the acted normal.
Only other thing i can think of is when you ask them to "wait here" And you didn't release them from the journey. only other thing would be is that they ran out of Food because your clan eats all the food up before you leave the area, this happens when you feed in your home area the clan will do the same, you eat they eat you drink they drink.

I usually explore in groups its easier to explore that way, and you can intimidate any preditor. in the first area anyways. But you do have to be careful if any clan member gets hurt you have to heal them or they will die.

You don't need to empty their hand, without bug (or with an other xD) they don't need to eat/drink really, it don't impact their health.

Are you sure you didn't make them eat something toxic or they were hurted ?

There was plenty of food in the start camp but maybe as you say, i didn't go to a bed and choose to end expedition. I'll have to keep an eye on it in future.

I tried to find another camp but it will be easier to remain at the start location and aquire as many abilities as possible be fore i move camp i think.

they do need all the stuff u do eat/sleep/drinks.....they can n will die if they do not get that trust me iv had a couple die from needs (i had alot of apes like 18) i had to skip a gen cuz all my clan was dying of hunger n i couldnt feed them all

n its also annyoing that they need their right hand free to do anything even if their left is free they wont eat, also hate u cant drink with a item like weps really wish they can use the left hand if its free....maby its in the tree somewhere idk but its annyoing as hell

i have been ok for 3 generations today playing, most of the food at the waterfall regrows after 24 hours and all seem well fed and healthy. Now that i have load of neurons i need to learn how to collect that honey hanging above my base and what the hell the stone grinder is for!
