i cant really go any further than the swamp. Ive been using sticks to scare off beasts built defences but how do I lower fear so I can explore more?

Also i seem to have lost 2 of my clan mates along the way, how do i get them back?

ok i looks like one of them went crazy in the woods and I can get him to follow me

A second circle appears at the bottom left when you're in unexplored territory and you have to keep identifying things by intelligence, sight, and smell until it fills up which will also keep your dopamine meter up to stop you from going crazy. Once its full you just have to go far enough into the unexplored area to be able to conquer your fear and expand the explored region
