After Evolution, all apes are gone

Hi all,
I had a nice little clan and I evolved, yippie...
well not really since all but one ape are gone.. No sight of them and no dots on my hub. can anyone help me plz?
Also I am on a total different location than I was bevore and i can´t seem to find the old one. It seems as if i ported away while evolving.
Does anyone else have those problems? what do I do wrong when evolving?

Evolutions move your tribe to some random location, that's normal behaviour.

I can only guess, but I assume you initiated your evolution while your clanmembers were outside of your home base's circle. According to some of the stories people tell here and on reddit, actions like resettling without your clanmates nearby are understood by the game as if you're abandoning them. My guess would be that something like that happened.

You can still salvage your game by recruiting new apes. If none spawn, remember that you can trigger a respawn by resettling (any sleeping spot will do, doesn't need to be a new oasis) and reloading. New apes should spawn until you have 6 adults again.

It sound like an unpleasant bug that you've encountered. However, even a lone elder can recruit new member into the clan to rebuild it's numbers.
Try what NickFury suggested then go out and find new members. The new members will always be adults and while it might take a while to rebuild the clan, it's either that, restart the game or give up and go away mad.

If you've encountered the bug twice, it may be something about your system since I haven't seen many other reports of it happening. Since you're playing on the pc I suppose it's theoreticly possible to back up your save file.

seems like its not a isolated thing m8 , and yes ive tryd recruiting and there is no re spawns of apes to recruit.

I had a generation with only one elder male and one elder female. I thought I was screwed. But I went on an expedition and, boom!, I quickly found a couple of adult females to join the clan. The game has a way of giving you what you need.

i looked for 2 hours, its different when this bug happens. i had an ape eatin by a hippo, manage to get my babies home tho :) and went out, and only 100 metres from my base/clan was a ape that i could help to join, SO its bugged when this happens, no apes spawn, believe me i looked :)

I was one species from the end, and all my clan wiped out on evolution (taungs). Just one male left. I used my senses and check around my actual camp. Found 3 females, I've breed them all and then changed generation. My clan was rebuilt.

i spent alot of time searching high trees and did a alot of searching using all my senses, but never found any apes to recruit.

Did you change region? The first apes are in the tree near the starting camp, later in the game its not Always the case. Your save is in user/yourname/appdata/local/ancestors in case you take a fresh start and dont want no more Breaking game bugs.

when it happen i was out on the savana region., after i did a evolution i was back at the starting camp, with just 1 ape, a elder female. and i looked all out side that camp area for hours and never sented out another ape, so idk.. and no i didnt find the save file :/
