Bro I said I already tried this, don't matter now, i just recreated and i've nearly finished the game now, didnt make much of a difference anyways, i just thought the game would pick up on the little things that you would have taught clem in the first seasons (as lee etc) but not too much of that happens
I'm not sure what to do atm, I don't want to replay the entire Episode 5, and going to do the part that's not showing for me will apparently remove all progress after that point?
Edit: I tried backing up save and replaying the chapter for saving the baby, did in fact remove all progress after, tried copying over missing save files to make up difference, didn't help, so did a complete override using backup, and still not showing the choice as complete so... Not sure what else to do at this point. Found a post, linked below of someone else having issue, even replaying entire episode apparently didn't help, so... I give up, just gonna do the choices best I can to match my saves and play.

Just to the recreate like i did, game doesn't touch too much on the little things anyway, just the major choices, does carry into the final season tho which is 1000x better than this game
Been so long I don't remember, and I'm about to find out if I encounter the issue again soon, just about to beat season 2. That said, I found a potential fix if you want to try.
Navigate to Documents > Telltale Games
If your folder is named "The Walking Dead Season 2", rename it to " The Walking Dead Season Two"
Hope that helps, but if not respond and I'll try and find other potential solutions.
It's my first time playing TWD a New Frontier with actually trying to import or recreate a backstory so I just wanna be sure it's not wonky or something.
Is it better to do the create backstory or better to import a save? or does it really matter?
I want to also import the save when I finish the third season into the final season too that way everything carries from season 1 to the final season if possible.
To my understanding, no real difference. Though not importing a save can result in some dialogue that doesn't match up with the events you played out in previous games.
