Isn’t it funny how people still hate on Kenny in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier?

Seriously, I spoke to some people who felt that Jane was the better guardian than Kenny in the Season 3 Flashbacks. It’s stupidly insane. It’s like they can’t handle the fact that they were wrong about him. They either A, demonize Kenny and forget all the good things that he did and B, go through mental gymnastics to justify Jane and her horrible actions. I’m glad The Walking Dead: A New Frontier showed us Kenny’s true colors. People did the same thing to Chloe Price in Life is Strange where people demonize her and ignored all the good things that she did and went through mental gymnastics to justify David Madsen and his horrible actions. I bet the people that hated on Kenny hated on Katjaa and Duck and acted like he deserved to lose them.

I always saw Kenny as someone that genuinely tries to do his best, but is beaten down severely by life. He had his effe-up moments, but also his loyal, corageous, good moments. I killed him in season2 as a mercy kill, exactly because i respected him and considered him a friend.

The idea that the Jane fanboys have that "Kenny was insane" and that "He was a manipulative monster" and that "He doesn't care about Clementine and AJ" is truly asinine. The man clearly lost his wife and kid in a matter of seconds.

That's determinant. I had Lee help him kill Larry. Plus Larry deserved to die.

Everyone loves Kenny. A fan favorite, but its pretty simple on season 2. He became a toxic person and a dangerous hazard to the group. He was the reason that group fell apart.

I love Kenny and Lee back to back, but Kenny lost it all over again and tried to be in control and tell everyone what to do with irrational decisions that made no sense. It doesn't take much to see Kenny for who he was at his worst. I'm sure at some point he was a good dad to his kids before the apocalypse. Unfortunately it changed him. I think people have to realize that and accept it.

Even if you spare Kennys life at Season 2, thats a lot of making up to do for all the people that died.

Yeah he was. past tense being the key word here. He wasn't gonna survive in a group. He is way too controlling and the worst person to put in charge.
Sure he still cares for people, but all of his decisions he made went from bad to worse in season 2. Thats just how they wrote him into the story. Sorry guys.

Why would he take Clementine to Wellington if he was so toxic and malicious?

Kenny didn't give her a choice not to go until near the very end. He refused to listen to the more reasonable options and dragged them to what could have been a myth and gotten them all killed for nothing.
