How to save Kate and Gabe?

an easy answer please? in my playtrough i rejected the offer to go to the new frontier, injected AJ and defended the city, what i need to pick so i can save both Kate and Gabe?

I don't even know how to LOSE Gabe, never had that in my 2 playthroughs!

For my playthrough, Kate just disappeared. Gabe survived...

There are spoilers about how to save Kate and Gabe.
Well, you need to make Clem go with Kate when David suddenly went out with his car and Gabe. As you know, if you or Clem will go to save them, Gabe will stay alive.
But somehow if you manage to go with Kate and make Clem come with you, there will be no one to save Gabe.

So Gabe dies.

I played and in my game they both survived. Don't worry, you just need to go to David and Gabe when they try to escape via car. I mean really... Did they really try to run over that zombie horde?! By the way, David dies and Gabe survives. You gotta make someone go to them. It can be Clem or You. Or both. I stayed with Kate when these things happened. And Clementine didn't let me choose anything about what her will do. (I didn't inject the poison or what it was to doctor. So Clem was upset. :D)

Oh and IDK if something changes if you would inject to doctor. And IDK exactly where you are playing. :D

There are 3 factors that go into who is saved.

Factor 1 Javis choice.
If Javi helps Kate she will live regardless of who Clem helps
If Javi helps Gabe and David Gabe will live no matter who Clem Helps.

Factors 2 and 3
Who Clem helps and what her Morality from season 2 is.
Clem will act accordingly to her survival instincts that are influenced by season 2 and some of Javis choices in NF.
Considering Clem has 13 different ways she can turn out on this point I won’t go into detail on that.
However what she chooses to do will impact who survives.

If she and Javi go together to help David and Gabe this will result in David and Gabe alive due to Clem killing zombies on one side of the car and Javi killing them on the other however Kate will be dead this is the only way to save David.

If she and Javi go together to help Kate both David and Gabe will be dead due to no one being there to kill the zombies on the car while Kate lives.

If they split up and Javi helps Kate while Clem helps David and Gabe Clem will only be able to save one and will pick Gabe resulting in Kate and Gabe alive.

If they split up and Javi helps David and Gabe while Clem helps Kate they will be split up and Kate will be missing with o clue to her whereabouts while Javi saves Gabe and has to put down a turning David.

And that pretty much the family’s fate no way to save everyone.

how can i influence Clem to go and help David and Gabe?

Here's what I did:

I made sure to side with Clementine to make sure that she would side with me when we all split up. I also encouraged a relationship between Clementine and Gabe. Then, I allowed Gabe to go with David, and decided to help Kate (if you don't, she will die). This makes Clementine go after Gabe.

Then, once I helped Kate, Clementine came back with Gabe, and I killed a turning David. There is NO WAY to save all three, but you can save Kate and Gabe.

(I don't know if these choices mattered, but I helped the doctor with his suicide and shot the leader. I also made sure that I kept saying, "I love you" to David during the fistfight).

All of the choices that I made above somehow got me both Kate and Gabe alive. Good luck!

How I saved Kate Gabe Clementine Javier is to do most of want Clementine say's at the air field tell them that Clementine had to shot that trader next don't know if you have to but shot Conrade then try to leave with Kate without David then give AJ the shot then Kill the doctor to find out wear AJ is you can let David in the wear house then Clementine goes after Gabe or should and Javier goes with Kate.

I might of said I love you one time then I hit him and saved Kate and Gabe.
