There are some exceptions mind you, certain characters in this season can be made to survive to the end despite you being able to get them killed, but I imagine those characters will either die in the next season or at least never be heard from again. So basically Tripp and Ava were doomed to either die or disappear from the franchise.
Their deaths were completely meaningless and had zero impact on the story.
They should’ve lived rather than just be dragged along with the plot to be killed off cause the writers don’t know what else to do.
This is the same crap I hated with nick and Sarah.
Their alternate deaths also had no meaning.
They didn’t even give Nick an onscreen death for gods sake.
