Pirated Season 1 and 2....
Is there no way to transfer my save? Seems like you had to have the game on either telltale pc or steam for the save transfer to work :\

Maybe they didn't want people who didn't buy the game to have the luxury of something like transfering their save

You have to rename your save folders for seasons 1 and 2 to this:

For season 1: The Walking Dead

For season 2: The Walking Dead Season Two

That's the folder syntax for the Steam version and it should recognize it. The only reason I'm telling you this is becasue it doesn't even matter if you have your save or not since Clem is hardly effected, about two sentences are slightly changed.

I did buy the game (the new one at least). They should let me easily transfer my save.

thats a bold statement, they should't allow it at all on principle..... I dont care that you pirated I care that you think they should support the legal version for it.

Not really a bold statement. If it wasnt for the fact that I could pirate season 1 or 2 I wouldnt've bothered with telltale games. Making save transfers harder for me will just incentivise me to pirate the game again instead of buying it. Also love to see people act like me pirating something effects them at all. You aren't a telltale dev.

Telltale didn't rig your save files to not be transferable, you literally just change the name of a folder and you're fine. Whether you're a Telltale dev or not, it's generally considered that pirating is a scummy act to do since you're not supporting the company and you're illegally obtaining software. There's a reason most games have prices, anyways just fix your folders like I instructed and move on with your life.
