We are fed up with your translations into Spanish, Tellatale
English.-

We, the Spanish players have had a lot of patience enduring your painful translations to our language title after title, and from what I see this does not seem to want to change.

The Spanish of Spain is very different from the one of America, so much that few phrases of which we read in your games would say in our country; They seem strange to us and take us out of the context altogether, and the final result is greatly diminished. But it is that even many sentences are poorly translated into the Spanish of South America itself.

Many companies perform two translations into Spanish because they understand this fact, the differences between the two regions, and this is necessary to please everyone.

I wish this would change in the future.

Never heard someone complain about this, I'd be surprised if Telltale makes another translation for such a small percentages of their userbase. I'm just being realistic, I don't see Telltale translating it for a specific Spanish style as they haven't in the past if I'm correct.

The whole audio translation? That's not going to happen, too many voice actors required for that.

Not really... they did it before with Heavy Rain, Until Dawn, Beyond Two Souls... and plenty other games...

Yeah but we're talking about Telltale games, they've never translated in audio.

Is not a small percentage. Spain represents one of the traditional Multi5 countries in receiving translation owns, from the time of ps1, and it´s the 4th market of Europe. Companies like Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Square and more of them make specific translations for both markets, and the other companies choose Castilian instead of Latin.

A small percentage of the market, you're missing the point, Telltale is small compared to those main brand companies. I bet you most people have never heard of them.

You can actually be happy to have them trying to make subtitles in other languages than english.
Until including TWD S2 they didn't even try to deliver that.
My honest opinion about that is that subtitle in a language differnet from the spoken one only distract me. I can't hear one language and read another.

There is an easy check on how much money they got.
Have you ever seen a commercial from them on TV?
You have seen stuff from EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Squenix and so on but not Telltale.

PS:
I can hardly believe the audacity of the OP to speak for EVERY spanish player and to think that the spanish players are somehow worth more than any other non native english player.

Those are just your conclusions. I assure you that my opinion is that the players of any place are the same as the others. I am not exposing an oppinion, I am exposing the fact that all the means of my country criticize that the translation is not up to the standard. It´s a negative point of the Telltale games reviews.

Sure, go ahead, but Telltale most likely won't add them in, and you should comprehend this considering all of their games don't so far. Just contact support if you're really trying to get this going, if you think posting in the Steam discussions will get much note from the devs then you're probably not going to have any luck. Now stop speaking for everyone when you're barely any of their market.

Why do I have to shut up if the only thing I do is expose a true fact, that the translation is terrible?

Because my country is not the number one in consuming videogames I can not criticize the bad practices of a company?

It is obvious that the US market is larger than Spain, for example, but , which has to do with what I say?

I do not understand that you criticize something that does not affect you the least.

It's fine to criticize them, but this post looks like letter to Telltale, which you're not going to get any luck with on Steam discussions. Make a Reddit post (not really better but might get more attention), or just simply contact support. Steam discussions won't get this going, but maybe other techniques. I still stand by that I don't believe Telltale won't do this, it's not coherent when considering their history.
Is the lack of a support section on all Telltale forums on Steam not a clue that Telltale don't have anything to do with the forums for their games on Steam?
