Reminder to Jane fans.
remember how at the end of season 2 she promised to stay with Clem? well lol she didn't she left clem and AJ, came back and then killed herself.

Meanwhile Kenny stuck with Clementine and AJ did his best to keep them safe and taught clem how to drive.

This pissssed me off SO much. I picked Jane cause well, I knew she was a strong person and had her sanity... AND NOW SHE WENT AND KILLED HERSELF ONLY BECAUSE SHE WAS PREGNANT. F*ck my life. I regret my choice so. much.

Everyone knows that Kenny is the man.

He deserves his own spin-off. Telling his story between season 1 and 2

What really annoyed me was that Jane's death was so out of character. I always thought of her mental strength as one of her best qualities. This scene however throws all of Jane's personality out of the window. It's as if Telltale just got lazy and decided to just throw her death together without little effort or thought. I understand that she thought a baby was a serious liability but she didn't have to kill herself. Maybe if she had been mentally unstable but she wasn't. We know this wasn't long after the end of season 2 as AJ is just a little baby so her death makes absolutely NO sense.

For any of the Luke fans (myself included) this feels almost like a repeat of Luke's death. At least with his death I can see some sense in it were as Jane's death is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I feel as if they're just pouring salt in the wound. Luke's death didn't do him justice, he deserved so much more then just drowning. That was utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While I'm not saying Jane deserved more it was just so unlike Jane as to be ridiculous.

What's more is that I don't understand what the point was in her being pregnant. Sure it was sad cause it was Luke's child and stuff and I get that but she may as well have died by a walker or been shot or anything like that because it was just SO out of character. Also I sorta feels like Telltale are wagging a bone in front of the Luke fan's faces or that they are just trying to pour some extra salt into our wound because it is guaranteed that nobody (besides Christa or Kenny and maybe Jane will be mentioned in season 3.) What's the point in resurfacing our feels for Luke or even mentioning him if he's never actually going to be spoken about by Clementine or even referenced?

Speaking of which. I need to go on a rant about the fact that it didn't really matter who you chose in the end of season 2.:steamfacepalm:I'll save that for another time.

Rant over....

I am so pissed with myself that I shot Kenny and left with Jane. I personally believed that it was Kennys time. I mean, come on, he had lost EVERYONE. He broke. It was a VERY difficult decision for me. I have never sat there and thought about my decision to the last second of the timer. But that moment, I waited, and waited, and started crying, because I didn't know what to do. I then shot him. And THEN to have Clementine find Jane hanging under the ceiling pissed me off so much. Id rathar have saved Kenny if I had known...

RIP Kenny, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miss you

I laughed when i replayed season 2 and saw Jane's promise to Clementine.

Anyway, after replaying season 2, I don't really hate her anymore, but i still prefer Kenny. They really did screw up with both of them in season 3 (and i was honestly hoping to see more of wellington, which is disappointing).

I was expecting more of Wellington as well. The with Kenny flashback was quite long and I thought the Wellington one would be too which I agree was very disappointing.

I also was upset when we saw nothing of Wellington. That was literally ALL of what was talked about in Season 2. You think that Tell Tale would have at least given an episode or two with Wellington.

Knowing what I do now I probably would still have killed Kenny but I would have left Jane. I think it was Kenny's time like you said. If anything I think he was tired of living. Though Jane did trick Clementine I am disappointed with how Telltale just killed her off. I couldn't bare the thought of killing her if she was carrying Luke's child. (The feels would be too much ;( )

My order of importance:

Luke: Well he is just Luke. No more needs to be said. XD
Jane: Though I care more about Kenny she is carrying Luke's baby which is all that remains of Luke and the memory of him. As I stated before Luke and almost all the season 2 characters will probably just be forgotten.
Kenny: He is a good mentor for Clementine and while sometimes a little unhinged he can make quicker more definite decisions whether that be for better or worse.

So did I. Though mentioning Wellington it excites me that Clementine mentioned Christ to the woman right at the end of season 2. Makes me think that she must have mention or be somewhere in season 3. That's for another topic.

I was disappointed with Jane's death, as I was with Kenny's even though I don't care for him. Both of them were half asses and an insult to their character. On one hand, I do understand why she would, since regardless of your choices, the family ♥♥♥♥♥ you over in terms of supplies, and after seeing what happened with Rebecca, having a child would not have ended well. They can barely take care of themselves & AJ at this point, let alone bringing another baby into the mix.

At the same time though, I feel it was an insult to how they portrayed her in season 2 since she was shown to be mentally strong (minus her stupid ass plan in the end), and strong willed. I don't believe she would just end her life like that, without making sure Clem & AJ were ok first.

My own headcanon was that Clem stuck with Jane to learn as many skills as she could so she could survive on her own if needed, and then leave when the time was right, as I felt that's Jane would want, even if she did grow attached to Clem & AJ.

I picked Jane at the end of Season 2, but still I do not regret shooting Kenny, feels like a much better ending than having him ending up as dinner. I gave him peace, said he was gonna see Katja and Duck... hardcore Kenny fans did not have that option. :steammocking:

Since they both could die they would inevitably do so at some point because that's how it works so I didn't feel any shock about Jane's death.

The second Jane said "i'm not feeling that well" I kinda guessed instantly they were just gonna have her hang herself because otherwise the flashback would be too long. Aaaand that happened, so obvious. I'm surprised so few others saw it coming. The tough Jane was just a mask, she was just as broken as Kenny inside, just much better at hiding it.

Anyways, wellington flashback was the most lame one imo, with Jane close second...
