Just played it with my cousin and... Gosh... Awful.

- Clem is pretty much a mary sue. Not the realistic kid we came to love, but a pure mary sue;

- Characters become retar_ded for the sake of drama and plot convenience. Situations that could be easily avoided or not even happen explode out of proportion because the characters can't use common sense

- All that from season 1 and 2 that people should be silent and not shoot guns as much as possible? I'm surprised in this season they didn't start singing "''MURICA! F_U_CK YEAH!"

- Seems like everyone here knows kung fu (Hi Garrus)

- "clem, surrender or I'll shoot your boyfriend!" ... Really....? Is that the level you're going down to Telltalle? You might as well write "telenovela mexicana" if you're going down that road

- An angry teenager runs off anywhere he wants and all the others say is "let him go, he needs to cool off", in a world full of zombies? Well alright then

Damn, we didn't expect this awful writing. Now we may as well play the rest of the season but I'm not holding my breath. Episode 2 is a very clear sign of what kind of writing we can expect from the rest of the season

Fun fact: the episodes have 8 writers each and the only ones who actually work at Telltale are Nick Breckon and Pierre Shorette, the rest are all FREELANCE writers hired no more than 8 months ago. They also have barely any experience in writing quality material. You can check all of this on LinkedIn by searching for "telltale writer".

I didn't like this season, I don't hate Telltalle or their games.

These 2 episodes were underwhelming and I shared my opinion on them. If you have a problem with haters then you're barking at the wrong door.

I'd rather this story be from Clementine's view, rather than Javier, but I do like Javier. He's cool but not someone I'd want to play too long. The two flashbacks in this game were a lot more inclining to watch becasue of Clementine, but too bad Jane's and Kenny's scenes were both ♥♥♥♥. At least the one where you're on your own you have action like leaving AJ in, ♥♥♥♥ goes bad, your finger gets mangled in the car door, etc. To improve that scene they should showed her cutting it off, things more darker in this game need to happen. Season two I still remember when 11 year old Clementine stitched her own severe arm cut by herself, and even cleaned it up. That sutff made me like this game, having someone we raised from seasons 1 & 2 develop. In this game, the way you shaped Clementine barely had any effect. Those are my main doubts, but I think overall the game excels past previous seasons in gameplay (e.g. camera angles, smashing in zombies, fending them off, and another thing is that the safe file worked perfectly this time) and the new characters are a lot more interesting than the previous game's (kenny was the last good one excluding Clem at the ending, and he dies either way). It's also great in terms of graphics and performance, litearlly no issues there besides two, Jane and Kenny's character models were awful, but I guess they didn't spend much time on them because they killed them quickly.

Yeah, I really did, feels bad man. I may not agree with you all the time in the sense that this a completely appalling game, but I do agree with you on this: Clementine should've been the main character, and not Javier. We should've been with Kenny (or Jane) and still meet up with Javier and such. Then at least give us the blessing of killing them in a respectable manner later on in the series, I think they got this entire thing wrong letting them die really quick in the game. Poor design by Telltale in that regard.

I bet being run out of Willington by (I presume) The Saviors, being recruited into The New Frontier, and whatever other solo survival hardships she endured after that probably had something to do with her being shaped into the highway robber she gets introduced as in this game.
