i understand liberties being taken for the sake of narrative and the fact she had to grow up faster, but she looks several years older than she should be at this point in the timeline

She's not 13 ,she's around 15 years old. At the end of season 1 she was 9 ,at the start of season 2 there is a 16 month jump ,which makes her close to 11 by the end of season 2.
skip 4 years ahead and she's around 15. There is a big difference from when we leave the washroom where Omid was killed to Krista and Clem in the woods, and thats only 16 months.

There's also at least another 7-8 months between season one and two. As Christa is heavily pregnant at the opening on the second season.

Ah i see what you mean ,its only been 4 years. So Clem does look a little older than 13.
I guess the zombie apocalypse ages you more than i thought. She looks 15 to 16 to me.

These skips in time are irritating. For less than glorious reasons. You'd think after having survived for several years people would learn more and act less dumb than they tend to do in TWD (not just the games, the show too), but I guess you can't expect that kind of realism when "who is gonna die, who is gonna live?" is like the central question.

Dunno if Clem is gonna die. I don't like the idea of milking characters just because of fanboys/fangirls.

If it's been 4 years after everything went to ♥♥♥♥, then yeah, she should be about 13 now, but she looks like she's 16 on all those screenshots.

You have a point. You'd think that after living with these things for years now people would have adapted, and those that didn't would have died.

I don't think she looks that much older, yeah perhaps 15 or 16 max but hey when i was 13 people thought i looked older as well.
