Welp. Clementine lost a finger.
Cuz you know. You had to make her look more battle hardened, but couldnt outright maim or scar her. So she loses a finger. Congratz.

it's amazing that after all these years it's only a finger

I, for one, like the idea of pirate clem with an eyepatch

when the teaser came out people noticed that and telltale said something along the lines

"something happens in the story where you are given a choice, one of those leads to a chopped off ring fingure"

There comments made it out to be something which had occured between the two seasons and dependant on previous player choices.

if thats so then why does clementine have her ring finger next to javier in the first screenshot on the store page? (the green tinted one with zombies caged up) and the next dont have it

It's gotta be some in game choice because I don't remember TWD S2 ever having you cut off your own finger.

Because I stated dependant on player choices which would mean there are two potential states.

That would be why I stated occured between two & three.

But how can you be sure it happened between 2 and 3? in one picture the finger isn't damaged and in the other picture it is. There's no way it possibly happened between 2 and 3.

For a start we don't know where in episode one those pictures take place. I can't be sure but at the same time you can't be sure it didn't either. As my point is based of an interpretation of a statement and that she is lacking a finger in one picture and not in another means it is variable. It could be an event that occurs in an episode or could just easily be something which has happened to in the events leading up to season three as they exist in an environment where people are quite continually at risk.

In other words, we oughta wait till the game is out before we start making speculations about that subject.

missing fingers from a choice... sounds like someone at telltale played heavy rain or until dawn. The games biting telltale are getting to be better than the real thing.

But not inspired by their own game which already featured such a choice?

Who wants to bet that losing her finger doesnt effect SH#T in the storyline.

Lee lost an arm. Didnt change anything for him did it.

What are you expecting it to effect? What were you expecting Lee removing his arm to effect?
