Kate- Leave me alone!
I wish to god that this game would stop forcing Kate on me.
I have done everything possible to push her away, but the game keeps trying to get Javi and Kate together.

I turned her away, I never kissed her, I never did any of the tender moments and yet all the characters keep commenting about how much they thought we acted like a couple. It's annoying and frankly doesn't make sense, since they would have never interacted with us outside of the time I was controlling him. At one point it gives you the option to "confess?" to David and I was just silent. What exactly am I confessing to?

It's moments like these where Telltale games fail. Where they obviously really want you to go a certain way and feel a certain way but you're fighting against it. They give you the options to go against it, but the game still ignores it and tries to push you back.

I don't want to be with Kate.
I think Kate is obnoxious.
I don't like Kate.

I hope Kate dies so I don't have to deal with her situation.
Sorry for the rant, I had to get that off my chest! :duranceleft::bulauren:

K-ON! Mar 29, 2017 @ 10:06pm
Just dont choose any romance option at all. I didnt choose any romance option. David dont have any problem with my at all. At least in my playthrough. The other people like Tripp or Eleanor mention this to me , I just answered them she is my family nothing more. It seems fine at least in EP3

I haven't chosen any romantic options. David doesn't have any issues with me about it (I never bought it up). BUT the option to confess to David was still there and the other characters keep bringing it up. Particularly Eleanor and Tripp. It doesn't make sense for them to bring it up the way they do, given the choices I made. Even when you do mention to Tripp that she is just family, the way he replies implies that you're lying.

It's just really obvious that the game is pushing for it. It's rather off-putting and takes you out of of the moment. Like with the confession scene, I was just sitting there confused with the dialogue options I was given.

Did you tell her to pull over so you could bang at the beginning? lol

Can't say that I did. XD

I played it like i was just looking out for family and even flirted with Eleanor, but yeah... That's one complaint I have, making me think I'm making choices but really... I'm not..

what is so bad on Kate? Kate is 10times better then Gabe or David Gabe is only doing ♥♥♥♥ he wants every time to be alone?

Yeah, that haven't done a good job with that part. I've played the same, trying not to get to close to her, but no matter what you pick it always kinda leans towards that. The obvious assumtion being that down the road(possibly as one of the last big choices of the season) you'll have to deal with the situation of the relationship between Javi/Kate and with David still being alive.

They have to push you towards her for their nonsensical narrative and the inevitable drama that will unfold in the upcoming episodes, otherwise they would have to write several stories, that's not the Telltale way.

I actually kind of like David. He's a bit of an ass, but he obviously really cares about his family. I agree Gabe is bit of a brat, but they're not trying to force me on Gabe, haha. As for Kate, like I said, I think she comes off as rather obnoxious and I don't like how she has been acting toward David in the present or toward Javi in the flashback scenes.

Yup. I'm almost certain that's going to happen. Especially considering that "scare" Javi supposedly has with David, thinking he knows, when he is actually talking about Mariana. It's obviously going to be a major conflict point with David down the road. Next time it'll be for real.

Hopefully my rejections have some effect...

For me, Kate is pretty... complex. I like her as an individual, but when it comes to love, she's got work to do.

So same
I don't like her at all, but I can't do anything.
That's like Telltale forsed us on Sasha in Tales from the Borderlands.
Just stop doing that, Telltale, leave me alone.

Yup, my OH has complained about this and I've noticed it too - the game is trying to force a romance there and it's so badly scripted that no matter what you do, the game refers to said romance whether you like it or not. 'The way you guys were, together' - the only time I caved was when I chose the kiss but that was well before Tripp etc showed up and I resisted EVERYTHING after that. And yet apparently they're still canoodling?
