Let's talk about Max [Episode 3 SPOILERS]
In the scene at the warehouse, I beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of Badger's skull then proceeded to execute Max. It was a choice made in the heat of the moment, and I defended my choice against Jesus. I later felt bad about it, but I don't think it was the wrong call.

Was Max a bad person? I don't think so. He tried to stop Badger from destroying Prescott, and he seemed genuinely upset upon learning his men killed Marianna. I really do think Max was a good person in a bad situation, but frankly I knew where his loyalties lay, and I couldn't risk him betraying me when we confronted Joan.

As for the kill Max ending, I was disappointed David lost his ♥♥♥♥ and started a firefight, but I later watched the spare Max ending, and it initially looks like I got the better ending. I'm excited to see where episode 4 takes us, and this might be the first TellTale game I replay because it's looking like choices are finally starting to matter.

Let badger turn, spared Max. I like Max and obviously nobody would believe just David and Javi

Yeah i let Badger turned too because he was such an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A slow death is a torturing death. If he's being a savage then me too.

He is just as dangerous as Badger. F**k Him! Felt good putting a bullet between his eyes.

I know right, like I went back so I could keep him alive and see how it would be if I kept him alive (which I probably should have done on YouTube first) but I have mixed feelings about it, because I feel the same way he was a good guy in a bad situation but it seems bringing him back to expose Joan was not as good as I was hoping it would be

I kept him alive to help prove what Jone was doing. Without him it's just David's word.
that's a reason I wanted him with us too

I chose not to kill Max, because he did seem pretty disturbed by Badger's psychotic attitude. Then I got a real bad taste in my mouth for him all over again during the first interview with the leaders of TNF and he threw us under the bus, defending Badger (though I can see why he would do it; Badger's trouble is directly related to Max's actions, which would put him in a real pickle if he ratted out Badger).

But I let him live because he was a reluctant bad guy in the end, and I would rather have the hope that he was going to do right by us in confronting Joan, and the possibility of him not then just blow away any hope completely. Obviously my attempt at diplomacy failed but that's politics for you. I can rest my conscience when I go on a killing spree on the notion that I was the reasonable one and they were not.

Also, letting David, who is obviously hot-tempered as it is, kill Max in cold blood like that would not have helped him deal with his temper in the slightest.

Ok.. so how did you end up the episode? Max helped you and David against Joan? They still trust that Lonnie?

I kept him alive, because in several conversations, he seemed to try to confront Badger with his decision making plus I figured maybe if I spared him, he would come in handy later on, maybe not with having evidence against Joan, but maybe later on as in when blood has to be shed. He seemed to me, the type of person that has gotten led astray, as for David though, I much rather have bashed his face in with his comment about Javi not coming back. Which I've played it as Javi just looking out for his family.

Lonnie doesn't have much to say in that ending, just groans that Max gave them up. Joan is backed into a corner and has to explain her reasons, she manages to sway Clint a bit, though he's still reluctant and Dr. Lingard just can't choose. Joan calls guards in and David and Javier are taken captive (can't remember whether or not Max was as well).

I keep him alive, in ep1 and 2 he most of time looks reasonable, in prescott, in junkyard, in the gate. So I didn't kill him.

Badger is reall A hole, so I let him turn, let walker eat him alive feel more enjoyable. Plus Jesus and Clem dont have any problem

Keeping Max will be a benefit than just killing him. So yeah, I let him live.

I don't think he's bad, but not good either.

He's just that kind of typical peasant of today's society.

He has some of his principles, he doesn't torture people; He tried to stop Badger from hurting Francine. He's afraid to death, just like every general public; Max promised to sell out his superior and he kept the promise, he wants to live He's just a subordinate, who listens to orders, nothing wrong with that.

So conlusion, he doesn't deserve to die but neither should give much credit.
