And if you spare Max, Lonnie dies later on anyways by walkers or something/someone else.
As for Max in general, I think he's a good person. He just makes dumb mistakes.
But I let him live because he was a reluctant bad guy in the end, and I would rather have the hope that he was going to do right by us in confronting Joan, and the possibility of him not then just blow away any hope completely. Obviously my attempt at diplomacy failed but that's politics for you. I can rest my conscience when I go on a killing spree on the notion that I was the reasonable one and they were not.
Also, letting David, who is obviously hot-tempered as it is, kill Max in cold blood like that would not have helped him deal with his temper in the slightest.
because when we first apporach them with David in warehouse,
Max tried to fake talk and pulled the gun.
I chose to let him live because I wanted to give him a chance.
why? because he seems scared that time? idk.
My reason as well
At least I'd make it quick for Max, seeing as how he did do as he said he would. I left Badger bleeding out with a gut shot for killing a little girl, after all. Max at least earned the kindness of a bullet to the brain.
