Jesus. He is the only character from the comics in A New Frontier
So far, anyway. Based on Clem's aging in the games and Carl's aging in the comics, the games and the comics are now running at roughly the same time. This game might be taking place around the middle of the 2 year time skip that the comics did, which would put it about a year behind the comics but that'sd still current enough that any of the characters we know and love could make an appearance and if Jesus is in the game, then Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom, and the Savior compound can't be too far away because he's probably not going to go more than a hundred miles from home. Could be the season ends up in one of those places. if that were to happen, I'd bet on the Kingdom being the place because we very rarely ever see the Kingdom in the comics. Most of the story and action are focused around Alexandria and Hilltop, which means there wouldn't be a need to incorporate Clem into the comics, though honestly I bet she's gonna die this season.
1. A New Frontier is both a name for the group and the subtitle for the third season. Does it even need pointing out that I was clearly reffering to the latter.
2. The characters in the television series are also in the comic. Funny that what with the TV show being an adapation of the comic.
I can hazard a guess that the events of ANF will not be referenced in the comics.
well the games yeah but events in the comics effect ANF E.G jesus being their, and also ya know ZOMBIES
Yeah it will be an event which occurs in the general canon of the comics but there will never be a moment which setups why he was there.
so he magically has no group
didnt leave
didnt lose it
just was at 2 places at once, makes sense
Nope he's never referenced them in the game's dialogue in the game which would be entirely different
Didn't leave what? You've read the comics and Jesus' role is that of frontier scout which is why he meets Rick's group in the first place. Which provides an explanation as to why he can meet the group in ANF without the parent material ever having to draw reference to it.
Didn't lose what?
Who said he was in two places at once? I didn't. I stated the parent material will not provide a setup for explaining how Jesus comes to meet the group in ANF. The role Jesus' serves provides that explanation without it needing to be directly stated.
