Bug in Episode 5

So I cannot continue with Episode 5 because there is a bug that crashes the game every single time. It is at the part where Javi covers himself in Zombieguts to walk through the walkers to the generator. I think have gone through all but one "cuts" so I'm right before the generator. Now, whenever i move as in press W, A, S or D the game closes itself. Every other key works, I can pause escape click whatever but as soon as I hit one of these 4 the game closes itself.

I feel like Episode 5 is the most bugged out of all episodes in any of the seasons, too many people are experiencing some kind of bug whether with save files, the game crashing or the decisions not being applied throughout the episodes

Happens to me as well and other people. Just wait for an update to come for a fix I suppose.

So I managed to go around that by replaying the Episode and using my steam controller during it. Don't know which one made the bug dissapear but you can try that out

Yeap I have the same bug. So there is no fix other than replaying the episode so far? No sucess stories?

Same here. Immediately craps out of the game as soon as you see ole jawless wander by. Restarting, using either version (Win 7 or Win 8+) doesn't help. Ridiculous.

Restarting ep5 from the beginning (all choices I made were the same) seems to fix this problem.

This is not a solution, it's a detour. And I do not like it, because there is no guarantee that the bug will not return.

And May 16th 2018. Crash to desktop when walking through the zombies. No fix still?
