Never mind that but it breaks old mechanics too, I have lost a few hospitals in the game not involved in this DLC from the bugs and the DLC levels are unplayable, they all freeze after a few minutes of playing.
Firing them seem to make it worst as they will standing still.
From my feeling it's seem that when thing getting too hectic, [like high hospital level, have many patients that game start to slow down a bit] The AI start broken up, I got doctor refuse to stay finish the training, always try to get back to gp room [need to force pick them and drop in the training till the gauge is complete]
Edit: So I suspect because I play at max speed so probably my i8700k can't handle the AI. Today, I play the game with normal speed and everything seem to be function as it should. [But those staff that've fired yesterday still wander the hospital like a zombie and never leave]
I found when they are out in vehicles for long periods of time their energy levels and happiness will drop by a huge amount. They are exposed to weather and they can't refill their hunger, thirst or toilet needs, which all seem to drop faster than normal. If you send just one vehicle to an emergency that has a tonne of patients and don't micromanage it, that vehicle will go backwards and forwards to the same emergency over and over without the driver taking a break until all the patients are picked up or dead. They will quickly become unhappy and leave if that happens.
So I ended up setting a group of nurses to only ambulance and nothing else (my ambulance driving doctors seemed to get unhappy faster than my nurses, and they're more expensive), and left those nurses in the staff room on a forced break until I needed them. I'd take them out when I needed a driver, and as soon as they were done with an emergency they went straight back into the staff room until they were at full health and happiness again. I also sent multiple vehicles to the same emergency to reduce the time they were spending outside. I still had to increase their pay a bit and deal with occasional "I'm going to quit!" messages, but none of them actually quit. (It's a tonne of micromanagement and very annoying as your hospital gets bigger).
If they are stuck in the vehicles and the vehicles are bugged out and can't return to the hospital they will definitely get angry and quit, although I found they can't leave and they sit in the staff list, miserable and dragging my stats down forever. Same thing happens if I fire them while they are driving. So both the vehicle and the staff member have bugs, I think.
In a possibly/probably unrelated issue all of my modded items are pixelated, unsubscribing and resubbing did not fix the issue.
I restarted and the same issues happened again. I'm stumped. I've had this profile since the launch of the base game. I really, really do not want to restart.
