TPH Macbook pro game keeps crashing

Does anyone else have this problem? It just quits to Steam after about 1 min. I have installed Culture shock DLC recently, I wonder if it's causing issues

Updated this morning, had to reinstall TPH and now it just doesnt launch. Icon bounces in the dock but nothing else happens?

I'm having issues with the game too, I'm running macOS Big Sur 11.2.2 and the latest version of Theme Hospital with all of the DLCs except for Culture Shock and the new one. A pop-up menu comes up asking for my computer password to access developer tools. After that, it crashes and quit to Steam.

yep. It's working ok now. The problem was with the DLC, I restarted the first level of the DLC and the issue went away.

The pop-up we've had several reports of. If you log in using your Mac's credentials you should be able to proceed. Other users have reported that logging in with their Mac's username/password resulted in the game continuing to boot. Please let me know if this is the case for you.

On further investigation it seems in Big Sur this issue doesn't allow you the time to put in your details before the game client crashes outright - I will be reporting this as a priority. Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience.
