Unable to clean up vomit on floor

Encountered an issue where my workers are unable to clean up pools of vomit on the floor. It registers as being there because they slip over on it and it's negatively impacting the hygiene and attractiveness of the area, but I can't interact with it or assign anyone to clean it up. Dragging and hovering a handyman over it doesn't activate the usual "clean up vomit" option.

I am having the same problem - it's affected my Flemington and Milton University maps. Janitors keep approaching and slipping in it, but never actually clean it up. Really annoying.

Yes! I thought they might have fixed it, but it just happened again in the latest level I've been playing for a while. So frustrating!

I'm having this too.
Here's a workaround while waiting for a fix, drop an item on top of it (such as a bin), and move/sell it, and it's gone.

The puddle does not disappear but is then moved to another location in the hospital.

Btw.: Rejected patients come back to the hospital after reloading the game. They are usually in a queue for diagnosis or station assigned until they reach the entrance and then they go away again.

Yes, loving the game otherwise! I understand there's a lot of crinkles to iron out in a new release. You guys have done an amazing job and thanks for keeping it true to the original Theme Hospital.

There is a bug with the janitor not always clearing up or prioritising properly. That will be fixed in an update soon!

Puddles will move if you drop something on them, that is by design :)

Janitors in my map (the magma hospital) won't do anything and it's caused everyone to quit because of ugly environment, too hot, and no toilets. the janitors run around looking for fire extinguishers even though they are placed everywhere and never actually use them

There are more and more puddles that no janitor wipes away. Nice that there are new clothes for the staff, but I think it would be better if first the bugs in the game would be eliminated, before new content comes to the game.

Yeah, it's really frustrating!

I just rage quit the game when I was doing so well on a level because it happened again! A gross puddle right near the entrance that I can't clean up or move. Ugh!

Hey Jo, any ETA on a fix for the invincible pee puddle bug?

I had a little bit of success by moving and selling a few things near the bugged puddle. Then I was able to finally drop a janitor on the spot for cleanup.

This is what happened, though:

1) Before, as all of you know, you try to drop a janitor on the bugged puddle and there is no cue, the janitor just walks away.
2) I got rid of the extra stuff.
3) I grabbed a janitor. The cue now says "Will clean up puddle, replacing Janitor X", or something like that, which I take to mean that the janitor I grabbed will clean the mess, but another janitor from across the hospital was on their way.
4) I dropped my janitor on the puddle. She immediately slipped and fell and then went on break. The janitor that was replaced was no longer interested in cleaning the puddle.
5) Oh, well.
