It sounds like you have had a save problem on one of your hospitals, and this has got your game in to a bad state. If you restart the game (quit to desktop and go back in) than your other hospitals should be ok.
Another thing that you can try is restoring from a backup save. To do this;
Go to your save folder and select the right slot;
Saves: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Hospital\Cloud
You will see lots of save files in here! If your broken save is your latest one, than sort by time. You have to move the broken save out of the save folder and rename the back up save from '901.sav.2.bak' to '901.sav'. The number will be different depending on the level you were playing. If your issues started in the third hopital, than the code for this is '903'
Hopefully this will work, and you won’t have lost too much progress!
We are interested in seeing your broken save (903 + career.csav) and logs, so that we can check that it is a known issue that we are already fixing and not something new. If you wouldn't mind emailing them to support@twopointstudios.com that would be great.
Your saves are in the location above (attach level save, and career.csav), and your logs are here;
Logs: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Hospital\Logs
Thanks,
Jo
Thank you for the quick reply, I have sent the save file, career file and logs to the email address supplied. I hope this can be fixed soon as I would hate for this to happen again.
Was working fine and was progressing through my first 3 hospitals. Went in this afternoon and one of my hospitals went mental. People getting stuck everywhere. It then came up with an in game error message. Went out and went back in and it was still not working. Restarted that hospital and had the same issues as Jaina. Dark patches showing where old rooms were. Rebuilt, built hospital version 2 from the restart, pressed play and nobody can find anything/get anywhere.
Any thoughts?
Sorry that you had issues too! We are working hard to fix these problems. Could you please send your saves as well to the email address above, and we can verify that they will work after the next update?
If you exit the game (to desktop) and go back in again, all of your levels should work, apart from the one that originally broken. I expect that you will get a 'Fail to load' message.
Thanks
Jo
I think that once a save get corrupted it affects the entire game.
I suggest sending the files asked above to the team, explaining the issues, then deleting the save may work. Going from a back-up save didn't work for me, so by deleting them all it gets rid of the corruption and allows the game to work normally.
I know this might be hard for those that are in a later hospital, but those in the first few would find this helpful.
Hopefully just deleting the saves and back-ups for that save will work and others wont need to go to the lengths that I did, but I had tried everything and I just wanted it to work, so the whole lot went.
