TPH mods. Are they ok/legal?

Hi, Recent beginner of TPH. Play Sims 3 & 4. Find enjoyment with various mods / Custom Content. Found a site with some mods, but it appears most are out of date. Things like determining pay, & job type. Plus, getting rid of the awards screen. Would love to hear anyone elses opinions, & if they know of any current mods, please.

I actually just started using mods a month or so ago and I sourced mine from Nexusmods and used the UnityModManager to implement them. The only ones I have used so far are:

Advanced Queues
Manage Staff Pay
Positive Traits
Reception Corner Hatch
Unlimited Room Sizes

All work fine for me and I have played through about 7 Hospitals without issue. I went with ones that had the most recent upload dates which were 2022. The Unlimited Room Sizes is the only old one I could not find a more recent upload of but it works fine. I also have not found any indication of the devs having any problem with modding the game. Truth is I only bought 2 additional DLCs because modding is possible.

I've sourced from same location. Not having much luck with them, with the exception of the room size one. Really wanted the one that sorts job classes, but out of date, and not looking like it was going to be updated. How are you able to activate the others? BTW, I am using the mod manager.
