How do you unlearn something? It wouldn't make sense.

Amnesia, that is how you unlearn something.

Yet lots of games allow you to.

I wouldn't want to be treated by docs and nurses with amnesia lol. Normal people cannot unlearn things but they can let old skills become obsolete/stagnate in favor of new ones. In the game world however, I don't care about reality and would welcome staff being allowed to reset their skills, similar to say xcom, but at a financial cost.

As you get older, you forget and unlearn things.
I guess they wouldnt want this in the game as you could have a "super staff" who knows everything. Eventually you could have a full staff who know every skill maxed out. The micro management of staff would not exist.

I'm guessing you don't own this game since there's no icon next to your user name. If you've played this game, you'll know that staff only have a max of 5 skill slots and they can only learn skills relevant to their profession. So you'll never see an OPed staff, although "super" is possible but only after you level them up sufficiently to unlock all 5 slots. And newly recruited staff may come with "diluted" skills that will be sub-optimal since these will require them to be at different places frequently instead of focusing fully on their strengths. Which is why I believe the OP is asking for the ability to reset aka "unlearn" old skills to be replaced by different ones to optimize their abilities.
