People not using my toilet

In the first level/hospital in the game, I built two toilet rooms. One was set to staff, and the other to patients. The staff toilet was used frequently, while the patient one was never used.

Now I'm on the second level/hospital, and I've built a single toilet, set for use by everybody. No-one has used it, apart from one person who entered the room to put something in the bin.

Why won't people use my toilet?

While correlation does not mean causation, I moved the hand dryer half a square further along the wall away from the door to the room and shortly afterwards someone came to use my toilet. Other people have been using it since.

Honestly I don't know. I build a very big toilet with at least four WC. I remember a task that you have to unblock WC but I have never had problems... I don't know how to help you

There are only few patients in the first levels, so it may be simply a case of that these few patients were treated so quickly that there was no need for a toilet. You can check the needs of patients in their profile under the Mood tab.

I did have a soiled patient. I'm wondering if the hair dryer requires space for someone to stand in front of it, and that somehow blocked passage to the toilet cubicles.

It's funny, if you zoom in to take a closer look at people on the toilet, the graphics are pixellated!

I expect it's not close enough to where patients are waiting. It's better to make small toilets but have a few of them dotted around.

Maybe patients have larger bladders in the earliest levels. People are using my toilets now, both staff and patients.
