Ehh, I'd say you get more usage out of GP 4 than both stam and motivation together. Especially considering that stamina as a skill ultimately means a lower average happiness level for that employee (they may work longer, but that means they go longer between filling needs and spend more time being unhappy, which makes them want more money to compensate for their unhappiness).
Hire/train up a couple "reserve" doctors instead.
Motivation isn't all that useful either though, since it's only a 10% speed boost. I haven't done strict testing, but GD 5 appears to be better than GP4 w/ motivation in the grand scheme of things.
Especially once you get the queue under control.
brilliant
If you can get a doc with "healing hands" trait, which is really rare from what I've seen, he basically heals everyone he diagnoses and keeps them alive longer to get treatment.
Higher patient happiness means they won't refuse to pay your double treatment costs. In other words, if I'm going to train a GP doc I first train it in GP to remind myself what the doctor is specialized in, then I go bedside manner, then GP for the rest of the way. I manage queues just fine without needing the typically recommended "GP 5 ace". In fact, in my current run of the last level my highest GP only has rank 3 of GP and 1 bedside manner.
