How do you control the death rate?
On level 2 one of my doctor gave me a challenge about 90 days no death. But i found it is really hard to do. Can anyone give me some hint about how to solve this challenge?

I think the death rate in this game is unrealistic. I mean, if you are talking about surgeon or some very special case, it is fine for the patient dead during the cure. But for those easy cases (I mean, those can be cured with simple machines or medcines), i think it is unfair for the patient be killed after he is corrected diagnosed.

I think the old game <Theme Hosptial> has a much fair way of this. If you diagnosed correctly and on time, then you will cure almost every patient, unless you got some accident (like machine blow up). But the hard point is to get a correct diagnose. And if you really don't want to take the risk you can set the doctor only attempt to cure a patient with more than X% success rate. I think this can be very helpful for the player in this game.

You can go back to hospitals and add the new stuff you unlock.

So once you unlock higher teir equipment, items and rooms you can add them to the ealier hospitals.

For instance once you unlock the training room you can go back and add it to an earlier hospital. Then train up you staff. Same goes for certain items that increase chances of curing patients and diagnoising them quicker.

Better trained doctors with high enough specialization in a specific field seems to do the trick.
I rarely loose anyone with a level 3-4-5 Surgeon. For treatment, make sure your doctor has level 3-4-5 Treatment.

Later on this becomes very important as there are objectives where you have to reach 90% cure rate(Of the last 20 patients).

You are only on level 2, you will learn the mechanics of the game soon enough and realize that there are ways to deal with the different issues. :)
Upgrade your equipment and train your staff. Only use trained staff to operate treatment equipment.

Since you're on level 2, you haven't unlocked these features yet. Play the game more and don't be so quick to decide it's the game's fault, you could be doing it wrong ;)

Make more GP's offices to cut down the time people are waiting in queues, thus lowering their health. Increasing your prices will also reduce the amount of traffic in the hospital giving you time to find your footing.

Thank you for the reply.
I was frustrated about the death rate in early game. And feel a bit weird that even a simple medcine can goes wrong and kill the patient. I will play further and see how much different it can make. Thank you very much. :)

An other thing is you can do is go to patient overview short them by health and send everyone with low health home (needed if you got to many patients clogging things up).

How do you train your surgeons so well? The hospital would be in choas when the doctors and nurses leave their rooms to study once, let alone a few times. How do you do that?

You need to have enough staff to cover for those who are in training or taking a break. If your entire system collapses because of one absent staff member, you don't have a very solid foundation.

Well as i have really enough roomes for patients, the main problem is some diseases are so deadly and i can hardly control the death rate. I'm now on level 3, wolverine (I don't know the English name of that disease) only get 70% cure rate with all the upgrade i got and a specialized nurse.

99 % cure rate and still sometime cure fail and patient die, very frustrating with all money and time for upgrade machine and learn high skill ... and for get no death trophy or some staff objectif ...
