Does it bother you people asking for a DRM free version on GOG? No, then why try to silence them?
And i bet they won't remove Denuvo with forced activation, so there is no benefit in the case of publishing there.
And as Akanaro has written too, will never happen. Or maybe in 50 years or so. We have copyright laws from 70-140years+, so they have enough time. Also not forget brands companys use for their products. Is all playing along with DRM and the protection plague system
Nobody is trying to silence anyone. Do you see every post not agreeing with your view as a plot to get you? The point is that Sega has never released a game on GoG. So why are people suddenly thinking they'll make an exception for Two Point Hospital? The point is also that we already have many threads of this nature as you well know. None of them add anything except people insulting each other over an issue none of you have any control over. The point is we are tired of seeing the same old arguments filling the forum. The point is they could have added their opinion in one of the existing threads instead of adding yet another DRM post.
NOBODY CARES ABOUT IF YOU DON"T WANT TO BUY THE GAME WITH DRM! WE ALREADY BOUGHT THE GAME AND WE ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME!
Got it? Good.
Then why are you here in this thread if you don't care?
If it was not clear from my reply then don't bother thinking about it too much. I'm just going to start blocking people like you from now because you're beyond reason.
Yes, I'm the problem here.. please take a good look in the mirror and you cared enough to leave your initial reply to the thread so yeah think before you speak.
I always find it hard to believe someone doesn't care when they put such effort into letting you know that. You know what is the behavior of someone who doesn't care? Not posting ;)
For a guy who is having a great time with the game just after release it is peculiar behavior.
Also this wasn't a drm thread but a simple "i'd like x version of this game" thread, I really don't see how you can think the OP was trying to start a 2nd denuvo thread. There's usually 0 drama in these as people just say +1 and a short comment at best. You're the one who bought in drama and threw a hissy fit. Now that you've come along and peed on the carpet, yeah now you're inviting drama and derailment, gj.
Finally such threads CAN (don't feel it's the case here) be useful to devs to gauge things such as demand or as evidence to show their employers. Again, very unlikely to happen in this case but there is a first time for everything and I'm not sure if I'd 100% back the sentence "Sega has never released its steam games outside of steam before so therefore they will NEVER do so, not even in a million years." as I don't believe this is some sort of immutable law.
Corporate culture is slow to change especially given japanese companies prior experiences with pc distribution and piracy but you are silly if you think that change is impossible especially if word filters up that their 100k investment isn't working.
Even if it's inneffective, let people have their pointless thread where they can say +1 and vent a bit. There isn't a unified thread for these requests and duplicate threads ain't a new phenomenon, and you ain't a community manager that it's your job to moniter these things and tell people what they do is useless or not (i mean...ffs we are talking on a steam forum so you really can't take the high ground on that one)
Got it? Good! ^_^ xD :P :D
Well in all fairness you didn't really give a satisfying answer other then "go post over in that thread if you want to talk about drm!" which is pointless because this isn't what the thread is about even though drm is in the title. No one here wants to discuss drm, you're really jumped the gun there.
I guess I'm going to be on that list too since you probably don't like it that I'm calling you out on your bs.
Finally a pet peeve of mine: speak for yourself instead of a nebulous "we".
You've clearly spent too much time in these forums if this triggers you, reccomend you take a break and go back to playing the game you said you were having tons of fun with instead of mud slinging and contributing to the toxicity (well in this case, you're the one who initiated it so you have 0 moral high ground here).
Also voted for the game on the community wishlist if enough people vote on it it might get CD Project to at least start a conversation to Sega about it.
