There is a Steam Link app for Android (and afaik IOs too) where you can set customized layouts of on-screen keys, configure touchscreen-to-mousepad behaviour and even gyro and stuff:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.valvesoftware.steamlink
There is also one you can use on a Raspberry PI 3 or 4 (that famous US$35
Single Board Computer) with Rasbian (Linux-based) which is an awesome replacement for the now gone Steam Link devices, for couch playing... but unfortunately TPH currently doesn't have controller support, so very clever custom controller input mapping to kbd+mouse will have to be done (maybe some community-made presets exist).
Yes, I use the steam remote play (Steam Link). However, it has some drawbacks: requires my main PC to be switched as well as using home bandwidth, mirrors the main monitor view (another person physically sitting at the computer can't use it for other tasks), etc. Not to mention when it snaps during the day, you are unable to restart/solve issue remotely.
GeForce Now is much more friendlier and hassle free in the regard (yes, we could now start 2 month long debate if it is... subjective option).
Apologies for the delay, we're back on GeForce Now right now :)
