I have a few hospitals at +100% price & reputation and not a single patient refuses to pay but like you the helper still does pop up from time to time mentioning lowering the prices
on the other hand, the announcement is from an advisor, and it will never shut up about the prices, even when everyone is gladly paying... it will stop only when your price satisfaction goes back to 50% or more (which will only happen if you keep your prices below standard price for a long while (I suspect it gets to 50% when your discounts add up to the same amount of money you got with overcharging until now, but just a hunch, IDK the exact math)
fortunately price satisfaction and the advisor can be safely ignored if you keep people happy by other means, so happy overpricing!
So, what I do is jack the prices to 100% if I need cash. Then, when I'm able, I create a marketing room and do general marketing. That will bring the people in and up your hospital reputation even if the price reputation is in the (golden) toilet. Eventually, when you're able, you can bring the prices back down to 0% change and you're good to go.
sign-up and then block the emails if they really annoy you...
though I have to say they have been a lot more moderate with emails than I expected, so maybe you'll be surprised as well if you give them a chance
basically only 1 email announcement per big update and per dlc, IIRC less than 1 a month so far
In this regard, only pay attention when patients are routinely refusing to pay. I generally play the game with prices at a default 100% (it's already easy enough; Hard Mode plz) and you will still have the odd patient who refuses to pay.
Only take action when this turns from one random unhappy patient into a distinct trend. Never drop prices below 100%. And look out for problems like low hygiene patients, very unattractive areas, high boredom, and a concentration of staff with bad traits. You've made your patients angry somehow, and it's not necessarily the price.
It's because you have to subscribe to the newsletter (Hospital Pass) to get it.
For example if my gmail address were cruinne@gmail.com (it's not, but if it were...) I could sign up with cruinne+twopoint@gmail.com. It would still get delivered to me, and if I were interested I could tell if they "sold it on" to anyone else, or I could also easily filter anything delivered to that address straight to the bin.
I have a different experience.. I have all the rooms in my Flemington hospital at level 5 and all my staff fully trained but if I put the prices to 100% a lot of people will still refuse to pay. At hospital level 26 it's barely breaking even anymore since I can't raise prices and I get too many people which leads to inevitably rage quitting since there isn't enough space in the hospital to build more rooms
My hint from another thread (I've had your problem too, and though I talk about training, I've seen that even fully trained staff sometimes isn't enough to handle the huge inflow):
