What is the deal with the way Janitors choose what to do? I am constantly seeing Janitors ignoring tasks they are standing right next to.

Here are two Janitors ignoring a Ghost. I had to pick one of them up to directly olrder them to catch it.

You should consider updating the AI at some point.

I would love to see this. Large hospitals become stupid and staff costs have no choice but to increase.

thats why for a big hospital you have one for each task.

And you shouldn't be putting down plants and having many deaths.

Which answers your question. It's about your management not the games mechanics.

I agree, the AI is extremely stupid. In my last game I had one janitor just for hunting ghosts, but setting him down in an area with 10 ghosts, he would just wander around 'looking for work'... hello, your job is hunting ghosts and there's plenty of ghosts to hunt within just a few meters

I am pretty sure it is not the AI, it is the pathfinding system. Same i see with patients, all employees and sometimes even with special guests like reporter/major.

Guess this need a fixed code.
