episode 242 is wave 26. wave 30 kept getting me, i did 26 in 2 tries. the frogborne machine has a long treatment time, it's usefull to have more than 1
that's strange, for diagnosis i only use cardio, general and fluid. managed it with that
i was reffering to the " The patients the wave sends over are coded to be harder to cure. " comment.
with full diagnosis it isn't that hard to cure them even with higher difficulty. what is the staff training like? are the machines upgraded. there are several factors to take in.
not sure what to tell you then, did mine 2nd attempt with upgraded machines and trained staff. can't help more than that sorry
your nurses seem better trained than mine but i've done this fine on 2 playthroughs so not sure why it's causing you so much trouble.
i found the 15 Flat Packed were easier due to lower numbers, I'm assuming it's the frogs that are causing the failure ? are you failing to cure 30 or the cure rate or a combo of the 2 ?
I know right? I watched the YouTube channel's playthrough and it breezed by for her. It's maddening for me lol. The flat-packed are more likely to complete barely at 15. Then it's the cure rate or the frogborne that's usually just ONE off the number causing the wave to fail. I always take the emergency task to make sure the cure rate goes well. I'm more likely to get close to all 3 if the emergency task is also frogborne which provides me 7 heals easily.
I haven't played it since this post out of rage so I might try again tonight...we'll see...
the only thing I can think of is that you have unlucky staff that aren't as good as they should be, I've seen it before when one of my doctors just seemed to kill more patients than the others even though they were trained to the same level. I check the logs and his death number was way higher so I ended up firing him and training another doc. I think it would be unlikely that you are that unlucky having so many bad staff
It might be worth having a look at the nurses and picking what you think are best 5 for those rooms but you can then have issues with them getting tired and going on breaks. I usually look for the flat packed patients to be cured then send those nurses on a break ready to take over in Toad Hall
Thanks! I will play a few more rounds tonight and if I see the same thing, I will dedicate the time to retraining less evil nurses. :)
Evil trait does damage to patients they encounter, you should pretty much never hire them
I don't, just figure-of-speech!
Update: FINALLY got through the wave and got 3 stars. That was the least enjoyable hospital ever.
