Camouflage Falls, Wave 26
Literally been stuck on wave 26 for about 8 hours now. I'm 1-5 away from the goals each time. I accept and cure ALL patients when they come in from an emergency task easily but the patients provided by the wave don't want to be cured. I have no idea what I can do differently, no one dies waiting around, the nurses are level 5 all treatment, I have 2-3 facilities for frogborne and flat-packed... You can run all the marketing campaigns you want because it doesn't bring more patients to cure to hit the target amount. I am so frustrated with this hospital, this has killed the game for me. I really want to complete the achievements though at this point. Getting to wave 42 on Topless Mountain was EASY compared to this hospital.

ANY advice? I'm just venting I think, thank you for toughing it out with me.

Sorry, but I have no advice. I usually watch Blarla's YouTubes and she has a few on Camouflage Falls, but I don't think she covers Wave 26. I'm finding that the game is not as much fun as it started out. The requirement to spam items to upgrade rooms or to make performance more effective is irritating. I've read how people will sometimes send almost all of their patients home so they can avoid deaths at the very end. I know this is necessary to win, but this isn't what the game should require :steamsad:

episode 242 is wave 26. wave 30 kept getting me, i did 26 in 2 tries. the frogborne machine has a long treatment time, it's usefull to have more than 1

I have 3 frogborne machines and 2 flat-packed machines, upgraded to level III. I have over $15,000,000 that I can throw at the problem. Literally no one is dying from waiting. The patients the wave sends over are coded to be harder to cure. If I get a frogborne emergency request for 7 patients, all 7 patients are healed easily each time, it's just the wave patients. Tried another 4 rounds and still no cigar.

that's strange, for diagnosis i only use cardio, general and fluid. managed it with that

There's no issue with diagnosis... I didn't mention any issue with diagnosis.

i was reffering to the " The patients the wave sends over are coded to be harder to cure. " comment.

with full diagnosis it isn't that hard to cure them even with higher difficulty. what is the staff training like? are the machines upgraded. there are several factors to take in.

Yes. Diagnosis no issue. Staff fully trained. Machines fully upgraded. This is why I'm complaining haha.

not sure what to tell you then, did mine 2nd attempt with upgraded machines and trained staff. can't help more than that sorry

your setup sounds like mine with 3 frogbourne and 2 flat packed (might have 3, havent checked)
your nurses seem better trained than mine but i've done this fine on 2 playthroughs so not sure why it's causing you so much trouble.

i found the 15 Flat Packed were easier due to lower numbers, I'm assuming it's the frogs that are causing the failure ? are you failing to cure 30 or the cure rate or a combo of the 2 ?

I know right? I watched the YouTube channel's playthrough and it breezed by for her. It's maddening for me lol. The flat-packed are more likely to complete barely at 15. Then it's the cure rate or the frogborne that's usually just ONE off the number causing the wave to fail. I always take the emergency task to make sure the cure rate goes well. I'm more likely to get close to all 3 if the emergency task is also frogborne which provides me 7 heals easily.

I haven't played it since this post out of rage so I might try again tonight...we'll see...

be interesting to know how you get on

the only thing I can think of is that you have unlucky staff that aren't as good as they should be, I've seen it before when one of my doctors just seemed to kill more patients than the others even though they were trained to the same level. I check the logs and his death number was way higher so I ended up firing him and training another doc. I think it would be unlikely that you are that unlucky having so many bad staff

It might be worth having a look at the nurses and picking what you think are best 5 for those rooms but you can then have issues with them getting tired and going on breaks. I usually look for the flat packed patients to be cured then send those nurses on a break ready to take over in Toad Hall

Thanks! I will play a few more rounds tonight and if I see the same thing, I will dedicate the time to retraining less evil nurses. :)

Evil trait does damage to patients they encounter, you should pretty much never hire them

I don't, just figure-of-speech!

Update: FINALLY got through the wave and got 3 stars. That was the least enjoyable hospital ever.
