Here's a question for those who have used it: are there advantages to using it? I've had it for a while, but haven't found a compelling reason to use it beyond aesthetics. It doesn't seem to me to save much floor space over the small reception desk and, to get the most out of it, you have to place it out in the open in a large space, since the queues can go out in all four directions. Small reception desks are cheap and can be placed up against walls. Has anyone found practical benefits of the large desk or is it more for looks?
Yeah, what this guy said. You can also place some unique assets in it to make it more attractive, and it also makes the hospital look nicer from a purely aesthetic perspective.
