Protip: Hyperbolic Time Chamber

One thing I decided I wanted to find out is how much of a particular "boost item" you can stack at one time. I started a new hospital, and used the power of science to make this: the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

The HTC is made up of several hundred anatomy dummies: I can't count the exact number easily because the game lags anytime it goes anywhere near the room. That's also why the dummies aren't packed in perfectly.

As far as I can tell, the answer is that boost items (such as the dummies) stack infinitely but there are diminishing returns as you continue to place them. I tested the same GP training in a 3x3 room with just the basics: a desk and the lectern, and it took roughly 30 days.

This means that if you have the money, making a single HTC is better than making a bunch of smaller training rooms, because I could use the HTC to train probably my entire staff in something in the time it'd take to train two or three using separate rooms.

Or maybe use the 4% bookcases so you could save a little space. Maybe even enough to build some offices so you can actually use the people you train.

Definitely proof that the use of more than one training room in this situation is indeed unnecessary and redundent.

Personally, I hate this sort of bonus stacking... But as long as it's the norm I need to learn to like it if I don't want my docs tied up for a month.

You're right, what I meant is that there seems to be a minimum amount of time needed for training: even with a much bigger HTC that I set up, I still couldn't get it down under that easily.

That's pretty cool. Shame about the lag though. I also feel I wouldn't do actually use that technique in the same way I wouldnt' medicine cabinet spam, but once you have a lot of money it's good to be free to do what you want.
