Nothing seems to matter in this game.
I've had a hospital fully decorated, comfortable, ease of access of everything, etc. I get money and patients, no problem.

I've had a hopsital with hardly any decorations, hard to access rooms, messes, max pricess, underpaid staff, etc. I get money and patients, no problem. Sure, my deaths are higher, but I still hit all objectives.

So what does matter in this game? Why try to make a logical hospital if in the end I get money and patients no matter what?

Im starting to wonder the same thing. The game keeps throwing money on me and it is starting to feel like its one of those mobile games that you cant fail at.

you cant .. having 600 patients in hospital, each second someone dies, new patients keeps coming to your hospital like rabbits where just 100 patients died for not caring and you still get all the awards for best hospital .. except for no death .. obviously :)

Is there a failure state to the game? I've never let my reputation drop or been super bankrupt. Is there a point where like the health dept shuts you down or the bank forcloses or something? There should be if there isn't.

there is nothing .. like i said, 600 patients, they keep dying, no reputation .. i think i kill more patients than cure :)

Killing a lot of patients should lower your reputation and if you go negative in reputation you get fired and lose the game.

That's how I think it should work, anyways.

The game is made for a wide audience, what did you expect? I'm glad I didnt spend any money on this.

You get bankrupt if you hit -300k. Atleast on one of the hospitals. I only managed to get it more or less intentionally while getting the 3'rd star for that one.

It's a decent game as long as you don't test out the mechanics. It's fun to design a hospital, see the interactions, etc.

But it's a very shallow game overall, maybe to appear to the wide audience.

I was afraid this would be the case. I will keep my money for Project Hospital instead. Damn shame, I was looking forward to this game.

Deaths definitely should have a bigger impact. Right now no one in the game cares if patients die left and right, so why should I?

It would be nice if inspections produced mandatory improvements or you get fired.

Like a health inspector demanding a 75% cleanliness or a trade union demanding 75% job satisfaction...

I mean the game is not balanced very well... but it surely also isn't shallow. Actually it's suprisingly deep, with a lot of hidden mechanics you'll have to learn the hard way.

I bet the reputation would even rise if you build absolutely nothing from the start

I haven't reached the end yet, but I'm wondering if I can fail anymore. With sufficient GPs and fluid analyzers at the entrance nothing can really go wrong.
