On a new map and struggling to break even?
Want to build your hospital completely from the start?

There is a money exploit that you can very easily do, once you have reached the University Hospital.

1. On a new map, build a research centre and staff it with 1 researcher.
2. Select the the General Research (20,000).
3. Go to the main map and select Milton Hopsital (or any other fully staff research hospital)
4. Select the same research as before.
5. Let the game run until the research is as close to 999/1000 as you dare let it.
6. Go back to the original map and as soon as you press play you will be 20,000 richer.

You can repeat this process as many times as you need. With a decent research hospital you can make over 100k in 5 minutes for your new game.

I try not to do this too often, but thought I would post it anyways in case it is of benefit to someone.

Since you are already exploiting wouldn't be easier to just use cheat engine? :)

I used this technique myself for a few hospitals that were near bankruptcy! Great tip but can't save you if your layout is not appropriate.

There is another money exploit that can net you a few million in a few seconds.

Why bother, it's tedious and unnecessary. Just jack up all your prices to +100% immediately and you'll have a lot of money.

I realize this thread is pretty old, but I just got the game and new to Steam. I had a lot of cheats on Theme Hospital but don't know about the "cheat engine" you refer to. Can someone help? Thanks!
