how does this game compare to the original hospital tycoon game back for pc many years ago?

i know it has similar concept and possibly inspired by that game even. i just wanna know if this is as fun ,or is it typical steam game where they make something look nice on surface but it's poorly designed at the core. i prefer games that are good designed at the core over graphics, such as old school n64 games and snes games, ect.

I think its made by the same people, its a 2018 version of nigh on the same game.

Well ... this game is indeed the same genre as "hospital tycoon", but it's more the successor or "theme hospital", which was a great game at its time, while hospital tycoon was a poorly made one. About the graphics well ... they aren't crazy but playing this game it's quite well balanced and well designed.

I kind of like the graphics, not usually the cartoon style fan, its put me off a few games like Civ 6 and stuff, but it suits this game. Its got a wallace and gromit style thing going on, animations are nice, the little freddie mecury guys are quite funny at first.

let me ask you this. briefly watched a video of this game, a guy mentioned opening and controlling SIX hospitals at once. REALLY?! i'm not eager or happy to hear that one. didn't in the original you run 1 hospital? i'm a casual, i liked 'released' games, not 'beta' i don't like relearning a game over and over as they change it. that harms both the devs of that game wasting time and also wastes the gamers time aswell. i'm not sure if this is beta or released game. i know the original back then is finished game, you play it and master it and move on, i like that aspect of a game. i DON'T want to run 6 hopsitals one thing i dislike about typical steam games is they think we all got no lives, but we do have lives, some of us atleast.

Its not really "at once". The orginal Theme Hospital had levels (or hospital). Completing the changelles lets you unlock new stuff and move onto a new hospital. This game does the same. Except, you can go BACK to the old hospitals and continue to play them. Each hospital has three main objectives. Each earns you new stuff. Anything earned in one hospital can be used across the game in new and old hospitals. You are only every playing one hospital at a time, but you can easily go to the map and select another to play. I believe this is where you got confused.

As to your orginal question. This game is a defenitly a 2nd Theme Hospital. As Someone who played and deeply loved the orginal I can confintly say that. Part of the orginal Theme Hospital team developed this game and it shows.

Also the game is fully released. They refused to put out a beta. They wanted a solid, finished, and polished game.Now they did release limited press release version to a select few youtubers to play as a means of reviewing and promoting the game.
