"High Brow" Achievement?

What does this Achievement entail?

I've blasted tens of monobeasts (worms), but the achievement doesn't pop.. Is there another kind of nuisance I haven't seen/unlocked yet?

As it's a "hidden" achievement, it might be that we need a 10 kill streak to obtain it

10 kill streak seems somewhat absurd, since best I've gotten in ideal conditions is streak of 3...

I got the achievement today and I can confirm it's 10 kills in a row without missing. The kill streak will quickly fadeou above the now-dead beastt so you can keep track. Streak continues even if you click other objects - like lifting hte reception desk again.

I just did it in a really easy way!
1. Be sure to be at normal speed (middle speed icon)
2. Pause the game
3. Hold left click on an object like bin and arcade machine near a ward in a really populated area
4. While the game is paused, you will see all the mono brows
5. When you see enough mono brows, simultaneously double click space bar with your left hand and double left click with the mouse to shoot.

I got about 24 in a row doing this :DDD Because you double tap the space bar, the game is now paused again and you can prepare to click the next mono brow. Your streak doesn't reset when the game is paused so you can lift other objects to discover them and shoot the!!

I'm glad to have discovered it (accidently lol) !

easier way is to go to a hospital you have completed and delete all the rooms. lots of mono brows come out and you have the space to kill them all.

I just got the achievement using the space bar + click method. Works great! I'd also suggest saving the game each time you add 1 to your kill streak. If you miss you can just re-load without starting a new streak again.

But when you click on a object the move it the streak resets,, i got up to 5 and then had a click about for more and back to one again. Also i haven't seen a single one on the final hospital ?

don't double click, go to tumble, lots of monobeasts there.

It can be done in any hospital, doesn't have to be the last and some hospitals don't have the illness monobrow to get the monobeasts in the first place.

i think i did this eventually, can't remember how, pure luck and it just resets when you try and move more objects

Pause the game, and lift everything that they hide under - bins, vending machines, small reception desks etc. The Monobeasts will pop out while the game is frozen so you know exactly where they are, without having to shoot/pause/lift/restart/pause/lift etc. One pause, lift everything, then aim, start, shoot, and you should do it. If not, do as Allisten says and save each time you get one. Also, go further and try and get some more ;)

BTW, once you unlock the monobeast catcher, you can't do this, as it does what it says on the tin, anytime a monobeast escapes, they head to the box, and can't get out. Unless I'm missing something, the only way to get them out is to sell the box and buy a new one, so the shooting challenge is a pain, as most hospitals are now clear of monobeasts!!!

I was surprised about this too. I'm not sure exactly what 'Browbeaters' are supposed to do to help us. You cannot shoot monobeasts when they're crawling inside the units, and also the monobeasts don't persist if you quicksave and quickload your game. Picking up the item doesn't let them escape, and selling the unit seems to make the beasts 'disappear' with the item. So... Am I missing something?

I was able to get up to three with this method, but by double-clicking, I think that if one of the clicks is a hit and one of the clicks is a miss, the miss will reset my kill streak without my realizing it, so when I save I overwrite the save with the streak. And it takes me about a dozen misses before I can get a hit, so I don't think it'll be possible for me to complete without a way of knowing whether I lost my streak or not.
