Two Point Hospital
Any tips on how to organize rooms and create a clever path for patients ?
Hey all.

I was curious what are your tips on how to well organize rooms in order to make patients not waste their time walking around.

I would love to have each "section" of my hospital being super specialized but you can't really do that early on as you can't buy all sections at once obviously. I start to feel that having one important room in each section is better than packing them all in one place especially when it comes to diagnosis so there's always a room close enough for the patient to go and then have the specialized treatment in further parts like the De-lux-o-lux and such.

But I'm still not sure I'm doing things any good haha.

So really keen on hearing your ideas!

One thing I am learning to do is to seperate my rooms by who will work them. Specific example I have a doctors wing and a nurses wing. This allows for folks to quickly move between requested jobs.

This became readily apparent to me when I got to the teaching hospital. I made seperate nurses and doctors training rooms because the teachers and students were taking longer to walk to their class than they were taking them.

By limiting the bathrooms and break areas you can in theory keep folks where you want them instead of a nurse wandering over to the dotors side randomly for a break and then taking forever to get back to work.

In theory the flow should be GP, Diagnostics, Treatment. Allowing for a linear(ish) setup

However It is closer to GP, DIagnostics,GP, Diagnostics, GP, Treatment, Ghost.
Lol at "GP, DIagnostics,GP, Diagnostics, GP, Treatment, Ghost"
you can edit youre rooms and change positions. At the beginning i start normal. Es the years go by and I have enough money to expand the hospital, than I consider puting everything togehter. At least thats how I am doing it. There is no right or wrong :D

Same now only to find the right way to lay them out when you get to this stage and everything is already going horribly wrong XD
I've started a new hospital in the tutorial level to take the time to read the "Info" panel of each room which has ton of information written down nowhere else. I had no ideas you could put several nurses in a ward for example.

By re-doing the level very slowly with advanced elements I learned how to properly train and use my employees I think I'm on the right track. I think my strategy will be to over specialize every employee and make it so they almost exclusively work in one room only with a few joker workers that can fill-up almost any position for when they need a break. I'll see how it goes when I start to have 30+ employees though xD
