How much content does the campaign offer?
After figuring out there sadly won't be a sandbox mode, how much content or hours of gameplay would the campaign offer? Maybe nobody knows, but there has been some press streams so perhaps somebody could answer my question. Thanks

well as far as content there is 15 different hospitals you can work with and get up to 3 stars on. I have watched someone play hrs just getting one or two of the 4 demo hospitals up to 3 stars. I assume its harder and harder to 3 star with each new hospital you go too so I am sensing a lot of game play hrs for the campaign

If I recall correctly, it's basically endless since you can revisit your old hospitals and improve them. Not sure how many hours the campaign would be on average, but with this kind of game it really depends on the player I guess

Hmm, I hope so. Right now I just feel like there are levels, you do the objectives for these and you move on to the next area, needing to build the hospital again from scratch, every time. It's not that big of a deal, but I have a feeling the levels will be locked to certain room types etc, so you can't fully sandbox your own hospital, as there will be locked content especially in the early campaign.

if it's anything like in Theme Hospital then after a few missions you build what you like,

good question. I played the original ALOT! as the campagne progressed the issues got harder ... i remember the later game you needed to train ALL your drs for all the taskes (training was diff in the original) so the later hospitals were a multy challange with fitting the rooms in, training, balancing who do kill for reserch or send home along with rodent problems and money. so i would say this new version will be simillar

I would definitely hope so, always love a challenge! I'm just worried about not being able to make your own pretty hospital, because you are tied to challenges and maybe time limits.

One point about TH and id like to know from this one is..
Right you can redo a level and keep going but are you going to have access to everything?
Arent you going to be tied to what you achievend while trying to beat the level?

TH had this issue if im not wrong, i dont remember correctly, you had to keep going in order to release the features.. So isnt like you finish the 1st level and back to it to keep playing like sandbox mode..

Challanges are ok, nothing against.. but are players going to be tied to it considering the aspect that ive pointed out?

From what I remember I think they said what you unlock in the later levels is available in the earlier levels when you go back. Purely from memory so no roasting if I'm wrong. :p

That's perfect, but will diseases also transfer to earlier levels? Would be strange. That would mean you'd have a fancy hospital but only that one section will be used, as other diseases and patients aren't unlocked yet.

well at least you can unlock say the research room in a different level and put that research room in the first hospital if you really want..

As far as diseases go i see that as a bad thing if they transfer between the levels at least on the really small hospital levels not enough space to treat them all..but then if you have a good size hospital that could treat all of them anyways why not transfer them if possible when they are unlocked on other levels

Would be a good thing, but only if you're able to upgrade the size of the hospital..

as this guy stated

imagine if you are tied to a small hospital not having space to do what you need to..
Well.. we can just speculate :P

But if you're right, its a good start..

A too small hospital space to work with.. I can see setting up emergency tents in the parking lot lol

also would love to know how much content the campaign offers. as in, how many different "levels/hospitals" you can build until you reach the end..

my purchase solely depends on this. if the game only offers like a 15 hour campaign it wouldn't feel like its worth it to me because i play through it in 2 days...

if it offers a lenghty campaign like 40-50 hours i'm in (or alternatively a sandbox mode besides the campaign)

how could it would be, eh!?
Imagine getting report about a big epidemic thing and people going to your hospital and you having to do whatever you need to be able to cure as many ones as possible.. even with tents in the parking lot :P

what a thing to see :P
