Is this going to be good or is it going to be like Frostpunk?
If this game has at least the feature content of Theme hospital I will be happy.

If its going to be a glorified mobile game with all the focus on artstyle like Frostpunk then I am not interested.

So far for me all of the big simulation released have been dreadful. Jurassic Park even had it when you click something and have to wait 5 minutes or whatever to unlock it, just like on a mobile game lol.

Does anyone know if this is going to be in depth or at least, as in depth as old theme hospital was? Had enough of these shallow premium cost simulation release cash grabs.

Its like they can't be bothered to put the time in on this genre anymore.

Has it been confirmed that there are no in game real money transactions of any kind? if so then I'll give whatever progression system they've decided on a decent chance before I start moaning about it. I'm curious about longevity and 'end game' and linearity, but this game is well and truly on my radar and if early impressions pan out I'm day one.
That said I love Frostpunk so you should probably ignore me :)

I see it more in depth than the old TH.. staff have character traits in this game like hangry heh game seems to run pretty well didn't see too much lag going on in the lets play videos. The game will have 15 different hospitals upon release with each being able to achieve up to 3 stars on them can micro manage the heck out of it t ie setting the prices for the snack machine if you want. Its definitely going to be a full game. No in game real money transactions either. The secondary currency kudosh is earned by doing things in game ie getting a star rating in the hospital unclogging 100 toilets and so on. it is use for unlocking certain items in the game

Frostpunk looked like nothing. I'm not sure how people could see the marketing material and Youtube content and think it had any depth whatsoever. Jurassic Park was the same a whole lot of nothing.

Two point looks like an actual game.

They said there won't be any, people will see the Kudos currency and think it is bought currency but its one you get for completing challanges.

It's reportedly the sequel everyone has been wanting. It's apparently amazing. We won't know for sure until release...

Frostpunk is awesome btw...

Anything bullfrog was pretty much the best of everything. Only other game that came close to bullfrog was SimCity tbh. After bullfrog closed we then had black and white and startopia. Then pc gaming took a rapid decline...

Same here, just been duped so many times. Particularly with Frost Punk.

For someone who has played sim games from the early 90s in my opinion Frost Punk is not really a sim, its a interactive story with some very very basic resource management and meaningless decision making.

If you like story games then I can agree Frostpunk maybe a good game. In terms of management simulations, or base builders, its literally the shallowest non game I have ever seen in the genre.

I was shocked they advertised it as a city builder/sim.

In terms of city builders every single sierra release from 20 years ago has more depth, content and gameplay. This is pretty pathetic imo.
