Is there a cool down on Training staff??

For example i train one of my doctors a skill and it all works fine but after he has finished training i cannot train him anymore even though he still has 1 or 2 skill slots left he could learn. Any help would be great. Thanks

If they have free slots iv been able to assign new training right afrer they leave the training room. The person taching cant teach again till they close the door behind themselves it seems also.

Even though he has skill slots left, one of them has to be unlocked by a promotion, if you click on the (What are we calling these little people? We can't call them Sims.) person's name, to the right where the fire, break buttons are, you may see one called promote. If that is there you'll need to do that before they train the new empty slot.

Also some skills only have 1 rank, like Pharmacy.

The skill slots have to be open, which is ususally achieved by them working, completing a new star rating and then getting a promotion from you. Depending on the colour scheme of your PC (gamma could be the problem) you might not be able to easily distinguish a locked training slot from an open one.

If theses doctors are called to a workroom/in the middle of a worksession they might also not be available for training.

And yes, the trainer needs to leave the room first.
