There have been plenty of decent Theme Park management games since the release of Theme Park such as the Rollercoaster Tycoon series and more recently Planet Coaster & Parkitect.
We certainly have been spoiled for choice with those...but I certainly wouldn't be against a Populous or Powermonger remake.
I disagree. While it is true we have planet coaster and parkitect, both of them lack personality and a sense of strong gameplay in the buisness management system. Especially Planet Coaster. I've quickly bored of both because the actual gameplay itself lacks depth and balance. And Parkitect lacks graphical fidelity.
That's what these guys excel at, making a balanced progression system with strong game play. I'd love a modern theme park since none of the modern park sims seem to hit that magic mark. I'm still playing RCT2 even though I have Planet Coaster and Parkitect because it has the best simulation game play.
Sweet, very sweet.
And Ryuu, Dungeon Keeper is owned by the wrong company. The Only Dungeon keeper they'd make is another phone-game.
I know EA owns DK franchise now and desecrates it by awful p2w mobile game.
I'm talking if Two Point Studios would make a SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR to it like Two Point Hospital is to Theme Hospital, without reusing the name, assets, etc. BUT the problem is that there's already a couple of spiritual successors released, so i'm not sure if there's niche left. I haven't played them so dunno if they live up to expectations.
Now you get it i hope?!
Oh ffs calm down, I didn't insult you in any way, actually thought you were one of the few decent people here....guess I was wrong =(
I love Dungeon Keeper and if they make a successor - it would be instabuy even with this price for Russia, because it's a bigger game overall than Theme Hospital.
Cause your non-edited post was even more vague then what you have now after you edited it?
And why would I assume you knew it was owned by EA when all you ask now is "Do we need a new Dungeon keeper?"
War for the overworld and Dungeons 2 are both great games btw and so is the third game that's very similar but it doesn't seem to ever leave Early Access. (Forgot the name of it now)

I just commented because of this quote:
So i wondered do people think they should make a DK successor or there's already enough of them?
Also wouldn't surprise me if there's a fourth game in the making.
Don't get me wrong though, I'd love if EA would let someone else make the third game and get the voice-over again (eventhough he might now be under contract with War for the Overworld as he's doing the narrator there as well)
If we're talking remakes or successors though...I'd loooove a Startopia 2 with the same narrator =)
Yeah, I would love a Startopia spiritual successor. Unfortunatly the narrator passed away a while ago. But I'm sure they could find a great narrator, Steven Fry or Kevan Brighting would be excellent I'm sure!
