I saw that the ex Lionhead studio is working on this game is it possible to maybe have the movies 2 or something like the movies?

Who know? The Movies was a fun game, but saw very little sales compared to what it was. Lionhead made some pretty good games in their short run. Black and white was good too.

The Movies was a great game, had loads of fun with that. Even reinstalled it years later just to have another go at it. Would definitely love to see a sequel to it.

The movies is the top of my list of games I want a sequel to!
It is my own opinion that The Movies was the best game that came out from Lionhead and I very much am hoping that this game will encourage a "The Movies" Sequel.
I love Theme Hospital so i'm getting this game... but if it would help get a "The Movies 2" off the ground I'd be buying a few copies of this game for some others i know.

You can still play the Movies on Windows 10 by installing the Media Feature Pack for the windows version you have. I'm still playing this awesome game in latest windows 10 windows version 1803 Aprile 2018 by installing this pack first.

Lionhead was my favorite studio when it was around. The Movies was fun, alot of fun, but I would love a B&W reboot to come out someday. I would probably break my own rule and preorder something like that. Either way I'm really excited to see what these devs put out.

just kinda bumping this because yeah I WILL Buy this game and probably for my brother too. I love Theme Hospital but the real reason I'm excited for this is in hope for a "The Movies" succesor.

Not 100% sure what this topic is doing in the 2PH forum but agree that The Movies stands up well to modern games. I even bought it again via Amazon and was really annoyed my copy bugged out around the 1940s. A remake compatible with modern operating systems would be most welcome!
