pretty much all of the dlc items and rooms once unlocked can be used on every non-dlc hospital
the dlc maps become available on sandbox too, bringing with them their unique playability variations (like patient waves, unlocking and freely building rooms on open terrain, earning money only via fullfilling special objectives, etc)...
...but these variations are tied to each map so no patient waves on mitton, just on topless mountain, even on sandbox mode
i would also like to know.
for kudosh unlocked items, as long as you have enough kudosh it can be unlocked no matter what map you are on
eg: you can go back to the hot maps and replace all aircons with the ice sculpture from peberly island, anihilating the need for aircon maintenance!
for rooms, once you start playing a level, the research to unlock the room can be conducted anywhere, and once researched, the room can be placed on any hospital...
...of course there is not much point in placing a treatment room in a map where the disease won't appear, but placing advanced diagnostics in the early levels can be fun too
on sandbox mode you can choose which diseases will appear in a new map, so main-game maps with dlc diseases is possible there
Marlock thanks for your detailed responses. I got 1 Star in each of the 15 hospitals and now I’m going to get the dlc and do that too. Then go back to the first hospital and work to make that 3 stars, will be nice to have some dlc items too while I do that.
Does this sound feasible to ya?
give it a pause then go back to them later if you feel you need some more experience/unlocks to tackle them, you can hop between maps as much as you want
