New game+?
Hi Im loving the game so far, but looks like unlocking everything takes a good amount of grinding and not the fun type, so I was wonder if there is some kind of new game+ where do I keep my perks and abilities(less elder shard stuff), Im asking because I read this game have 3 different endings and farming all that again 3 whole times is going to be a pain.

Thanks in advance:HappyEshe:

Sadly no, there is a way to get 2 endings within the same run, but as of right now the only way to get all three endings is through playing the game a 2nd time.

You may want to play on Easy if you would rather not farm much. In Easy mode, the shard drops are significantly higher and the enemies are significantly weaker.

Sorry!

Thats quite a big oversight from your part not adding that knowing how grinding this game is, is quite inconvenient, but thanks :I
Well... to be fair, we wanted to do one too, but budget/time are a limited resource sadly. Judging from how messy some systems are, we might not have released yet had we attempted it...!

That being said, once you know how to beat the game once, the 2nd time around goes a lot quicker, and you should not need as much upgrades as you first did, even on higher difficulties (aside from Insane, if you hate grind avoid this at all cost).

Knowledge is a tool often overlooked! You do not need much upgrades to complete the game on easy, you technically only need the Gun, Smash and Shield :D ... though the armor upgrade inside the Grappling Hook branch is pretty useful when you have limited resources!.

All in all, sorry for the inconvenience!

I mean... you could technically get the Neutral Ending by not doing anything with the Elder Shards, then burn or consume them all at once to get the Resist or Embrace endings. It'd probably be a real challenge to get that far without any power-ups, though

Neutral = neither resist nor embrace. You can burn/embrace up to 6 shards or have all 7 mixed between the two and still get neutral. You just can't have either burned or embraced all 7. So Embrace or burn 6 -> get the 7th shard -> beat t he neutral ending -> load -> burn or embrace the 7th shard -> get the 2nd ending -> replay for the 3rd.

I don't agree that this is an oversight at all. Within the story, you can choose to either resist the evil powers, or embrace them. There are two different ending depending on which you choose (and a third if you choose neither (sort of)). "I want all the endings but I don't want to put in the effort to play the game more than once!" is a pretty entitled sentiment. To be honest, if this were changed, it would make the story feel so much weaker. Right now, it's a HUGE decision, and is the reason I have so thoroughly enjoyed the game for so long. I don't think the devs need to apologise for this, it's SUCH a great game, beautiful and fun, and these stupid "but I want all the achievements for free!" dweebs are lame af.

Hey don't justified technical flaws with : "Oh I want the game to be harder" lots of games with multiple endings have new game plus, chrono trigger for say something, If I already beat the game I should have the option of a play it again with all the stuff I hoarder, and stop putting words in my mouth dingus, I never say I want free achievements, the developer already answer my questions so I dont know what are you trying to archive with your little rant.

some people can just shut the hell up I think, and thats the last thing I will say on this post.

If you're on the PC, you can just do what I did.

Go through the whole game collecting, but not resisting or embracing any of the shards. This is perfectly manageable on hard (haven't tried Insane).
Then, when you've filled out all of the tree and have all of the perks - you go to the game folder in windows. I have Win 8.1, so in my case it was:
C:\Users\*My user name*\AppData\LocalLow\Thunder Lotus Games\Sundered
You may need to do a bit of searching if you have other windows versions.

Then you just back up the files that are stored there.

Afterwards you can do the neutral ending, then resist or embrace one. Once that is done, you can restore the savefiles and do the third ending.

This is what I did on my first playthrough. It was entertainingly challenging.
