Any tips for the final boss?

It's my first time playing the game. I'm on Hard, destroyed all seven shards and have most of the tree unlocked. All my perks are level 3 (shield build with shield absorb, health=shield, melee damage and shield flasks).

I didn't found the other bosses very difficult, but I'm stuck on Nyarlathotep, on the phase where it does basically two things: swing its arm and summon wraiths. The thing is, as soon as I hit the ground, I can't get back up because I keep getting thrown down by either arms or wraiths. I can't find a way of getting back up to the upper part of the room. And if I try to dodge attacks, I never find the time to find my way up before the next flurry of attacks.

Am I missing something? It feels like I'm missing something.

Just beated him on normal. I suck with the hookshot so I got the top and middle weak parts first and then mashed the bottom part when there's lasers, wind and beasts. I also got a second phase where I had to use the cannon and there I just spammed the cannon from a platform and bashed the 'squids' for ammo.

Finally beat it! I just used the cannon like a madman against the top and middle crystal, and used the laser phase to DPS the bottom crystal. Next phase was a piece of cake.
