Difficulty
Is there a way to change difficulty? I started a game on normal and I'm enjoying it, but dying far too often to feel a sense of progression. I'd rather play on easy (is there an easy?) but I don't see an option... if I go to "Options" it's audio/visuals/controls... nothing related to changing difficulty. Can I access mob settings through game properties? I just want to enjoy the game without grinding for gems and dying constantly.

You can go down in difficulty but normal is the lowest one available. The game has somewhat of a learning curve and become easier once you get used to it/get perks that fit your play style. However if you want some help, send me your savefile at alex@thunderlotusgames.com and I will add shards to your game. It should help you go past the initial learning curve without dying as much. Savefile is located at %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Thunder Lotus Games/Sundered.

Whoa that's pretty awesome haha. I wish we could have messaged developers years ago on older consoles and get help with a game, lol. Cheers to ya'll!

You've just gotta farm some shard, y'know? And spend them according to your preffered style of offense. The game is EASY on normal

Hang in there and mash that dodge key to death. You'll get it!

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner, but very awesome you made the offer. I did eventually improve on my own, once I realized that some areas produce endless mobs and running through was the best option. I was stuck on the proving grounds when I made the post and felt I was never going to progress. Very cool game, and thanks again for the reply.

Hey, why don't you just add that as a mode to your game with a small explination. I'm sure there are plenty of us who wouldn't mind skipping the learning curve. I'll completely admit that I suck at this game as it stands. I'm feeling very overwhelmed and stressed over the army this game sends at me everytime an alarm goes off, lol. I really want to play the game, but as it stands, I just feel more stressed out than feeling any sense of enjoyment.

You can kind of cheat via hitting a lore globe when you're being pursued by a horde. It'll cancel the horde and iirc the enemies just blow up. Super cheap way to handle it.
